This qualification is designed to reflect the job role of entry level employees working across the entire financial services industry that performs duties such as: responding to customer enquiries sales and service maintaining financial records performing clerical duties applying fundamental skills in banking, credit management, insurance and retail financial services Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: Personal assistant to Chief Financial Officer Administration Assistant Payroll Clerk ENTRY REQUIREMENTS There are no pre-requisites for entry into this qualification. With vocational experience assisting in a range of support roles without a formal business qualification. COURSE STRUCTURE To complete this qualification, the student is required to complete 12 Units. This comprises of 1 core units and 11 elective units of which 7 must be selected from the list below. The remaining 4 elective units may be selected from the electives listed below or any qualification offered by Target Training, provided they do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen. Elective units must be relevant to work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
